Have you read Kamayani?
Kamayani is the story of the first man and woman in the history of mankind (according to hindu texts) — Manu and Shraddha.
As per Kamayani, the first sexual interaction between them took place when they were sleeping together for the first time. Manu forced himself on Shraddha and she couldn’t do anything except crying and begging for mercy.
Even if it was a work of fiction, I was deeply saddened by the fact that what should have been the most magical thing to happen to the mankind was nothing but a brutal RAPE.
It hasn’t left my mind, not even once and these incidents keep reminding that only a handful of population has evolved, since then.
